Care guide

Embroidery lasts well with gentle care. These steps are a general guide; the card inside your box and the product page come first.

Washing and drying

  1. Turn it inside out

This protects the stitching from rubbing against other items.

  2. Wash gently

Use a gentle cycle and a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and softeners with strong perfume.

  3. Dry flat or in the shade

Direct sun and strong heat can fade thread colours.

  4. Iron on the reverse

Iron at a low setting on the back of the embroidery, never directly on the stitches.

Before first use

Wash once before first use, following the steps above.

Storing

Fold it loosely and keep it dry. For long storage, use breathable cotton rather than plastic.

If something is wrong

Damage from use or from washing against these steps is not a defect. A fault in the stitching or fabric that was there from the start is, and we put it right.

Care instructions for each product are confirmed with the supplier. Where a product page differs from this general guide, follow the product page.
